Acoustic & Sheer Curtains Project in Sidra 1, Dubai Hills Estate

Our skilled team recently completed a specialized window covering project at Sidra 1, Dubai Hills Estate. This luxury villa required a unique solution beyond standard privacy and aesthetics. The bedroom faced a busy side road with constant traffic noise. The client specifically requested soundproofing along with light control and privacy.

Unlike normal curtain projects, this client had a specific acoustic concern. Heavy traffic noise from the side road was disrupting sleep and comfort. The bedroom needed serious sound reduction. Our team had to find a solution that would block noise while maintaining the room’s elegant appearance.

We recommended our specialized 5-layer acoustic curtains along with sheer curtains. This advanced design is engineered to block maximum sound waves. The unique penta-layer construction absorbs and dampens outside noise effectively.

Our designer carefully studied the bedroom’s existing decor. To maintain visual harmony, we suggested a light brown shade for the front curtain layer. This color complemented the room’s furniture and wall tones beautifully.

We built the acoustic drapes using five distinct material layers. Each layer serves a specific purpose in sound reduction.

• Layer 1 – We used light brown fabric as requested. This custom-colored layer provides the elegant appearance visible from inside the room.
• Layer 2 – A thick and dense black felt layer was added. This material absorbs sound waves effectively.
• Layer 3 – A cotton layer provides additional insulation. It also adds weight and improves sound dampening.
• Layer 4 – Another white felt layer in white strengthens the sound barrier. This creates multiple absorption points for noise.
• Layer 5 – We closed the layering with premium blackout fabric. This final layer blocks light completely and adds extra acoustic protection.

Our team installed the heavy penta-layer curtains with reinforced hardware. The weight of five layers required strong brackets and tracks. We ensured secure mounting for safe, long-term use.
