Entire Project Description

On 19 April, 2026, Lush Loom skilled technicians completed another project of curtains installation at Burj Khalifa Boulevard, Lofts West Tower in Dubai. Our team installed blackout and sheer curtains in a flat bedroom & living room.

Visiting the Client’s Flat

Our skilled technicians visited the flat in person to understand the owner’s window covering needs. We carefully inspected both windows and noted key details: window shape, room layout, and natural light flow. This on-ground visit helped us plan everything precisely before ordering any material.

Measuring Windows with Precision

Both windows required full coverage, so accurate measurements were essential. Our team measured each window carefully to ensure the curtains would hang perfectly from edge to edge with no gaps. One important detail stood out immediately, the room featured a large curved window. It required a technical curtain installation approach than a standard flat window.

Finalizing Colors & Fabrics

After the site visit, we sat down with the owner to finalize the curtain style and materials. For the blackout curtains, we chose camel brown velvet fabric. This warm, rich tone created a strong contrast against the white walls, white ceiling, and light flooring, tying the room’s color palette together beautifully. For the sheer curtains, we selected bright white linen, which blended naturally with the room’s walls and kept the space feeling open and airy.

Installing the Curved Track

The curved window made this project technically demanding. A standard straight curtain rod would not follow the window’s shape, so we installed a curved curtain track instead. This track allowed both window coverings to glide smoothly along the window’s natural curve without bunching or pulling at any point.

Hanging Curtains in Layers

We hung both curtains in a layered style to give the client full control over light and privacy. First, we installed the white sheer closest to the window. These filter soft daylight and maintain privacy without blocking the view. Then, we installed the camel brown blackout drapes on the outer layer. When drawn, they block all incoming light completely, ideal for restful sleep in the bedroom and glare-free evenings in the living room.

Project Outcomes

  • The curved window received a perfectly fitted dual-curtain setup with zero gaps or misalignment
  • The layered sheer and blackout system gives the owner flexible control over light at any time of day
  • The camel brown velvet blackout drapes complement the room’s furniture and flooring with a warm contrast
  • The bright white sheer brightens the space during the day while maintaining full privacy
  • The curved track operates smoothly and holds both curtain layers without sagging or shifting
  • The bedroom now offers complete blackout coverage for uninterrupted sleep
  • The overall look feels polished, intentional, and well-matched to the luxury setting of Burj Khalifa Boulevard.
