Blackout & Sheer Curtains Project in Jumeirah 2, Dubai

On January 20, 2026, the Lush Loom team completed a window covering project at G01, Eden House, The Canal, Jumeirah 2, Dubai. We installed custom-made blackout & sheer curtains in the living room and bedroom. The goal was to solve privacy and light control issues while making both spaces elegant and soundproof.

A few days before the project, we received a call from the apartment owner. He wanted our team to visit for window measurements and design consultation. He was facing challenges with privacy and light management in his apartment.

Our experts visited the apartment to evaluate the situation. We carefully assessed the window dimensions and discussed the challenges with the owner. We used digital scales to take precise measurements. This ensured accurate fitting and a perfect finish.

After the site assessment, we discussed design options with the client. We analyzed the interior theme of both rooms. This helped us recommend the right colors and textures for a cohesive look.
The client finalized polyester-blended blackout curtains for the bedroom. The blackout fabric was beige with elegant silver linings. For the living room, he chose off-white sheer curtains. Both colors matched perfectly with the apartment’s interior.

We recommended a double pinch-pleat header style for both window treatments. This style creates a classic and elegant drape fall. The client agreed with our suggestion.

Once everything was finalized, we began the execution. Our team started by stitching the pleated headers. We ensured the pleats were even and perfectly aligned. This created a fine and uniform look across the entire window width.

We installed the blackout in the bedroom using the flexible track for the L-shaped window. The track allowed smooth movement and complete coverage of the corner window. In the living room, we hung the off-white sheer.
