Custom Sofa Cover Project at Maple 1, Dubai Hills Estate

On 24 January 2026, the Lush Loom team completed a custom sofa covering project in a villa at Maple 1, Dubai Hills Estate. We covered a L-shaped sectional sofa in the living room. The main objective was to protect the expensive upholstery from fading, scratches, dust, and heat damage.

Our skilled carpenters visited the villa for consultation. Actually, the owner had invested in premium upholstery for his beautiful 4-seater. However, the sofas were placed directly in front of large windows. Due to prolonged exposure to sunlight & UV rays, the upholstery was fading noticeably. The villa also had pets and children who used the seater daily. The owner wanted a protective solution that would preserve furniture without replacing the original upholstery.

We removed all cushions one by one for individual covering. Each cushion was wrapped for a neat finish. Our skilled carpenters used modern fitting techniques throughout the installation.

The fabric was carefully stretched across each section of the sofa. We pushed the material deep into all crevices and corners. This technique ensures tightness and prevents any wrinkles or loose areas. The cover hugs the cushions perfectly, looking almost like the original upholstery.
