Gym Rubber Tiles (1x1m) Installation in Abu Dhabi

On February 6, 2026, the Lush Loom flooring team installed interlocking rubber tiles in a luxury gym in Abu Dhabi. The gym owner contacted us via phone to book a free site visit. He wanted to upgrade his gym flooring for better safety and performance.

Our flooring experts visited the gym to inspect the subfloor condition thoroughly. We measured the floor dimensions of different workout sections carefully. The owner explained his specific needs for the flooring project. He wanted rubber floor treatment in various workout zones to enhance safety and provide a better cushioning effect for bodybuilders during exercises.

We showcased our newly-arrived rubber tile samples to the gym owner. The samples included different colors, textures, and thickness options. After proper design consultation with our team, the owner finalized dark grey rubber tiles. Each tile measured 1×1 meters in size. This size works perfectly for quick installation and easy future replacement if needed.

After taking precise measurements of all workout sections, we began the installation process. Our team first removed all workout machines from the flooring surface. This clearing created space for seamless installation and protected the equipment from damage.
We then prepared the subfloor meticulously. Our workers cleaned the whole floor surface to remove all dust, debris, & stains. We applied high-quality adhesives to ensure perfect tile adhesion to the concrete floor. We also leveled the surface using premium primers. This step creates a smooth, even foundation for the rubber tiles.
We started laying the tiles section by section. Our installers aligned all tile edges perfectly using the interlocking joint system. Each tile clicked into the next one securely. This interlocking method creates a unified surface without gaps. The tiles bonded cohesively with the concrete flooring underneath.
