LVT Project Overview
On January 26, 2026, the Lush Loom team concluded a LVT flooring and skirting installation project at Al Manara Tower, Business Bay. We worked on a commercial unit with multiple offices and cabins. The project required careful planning due to irregular floor surfaces and several obstacles throughout the space.
Assessing the Space
Our flooring technicians visited the commercial unit for a detailed assessment. We carefully examined the existing floor condition and took precise measurements of the entire area. The unit had multiple offices, cabins, and glass walls that needed special attention.
During our inspection, we discovered several challenges. The floor surface was uneven and required extra preparation work. This preparation would create uniformity and ensure better tile adhesion. We noticed multiple junction boxes positioned in the center of the floor. These boxes needed square-shaped tile pieces to fit around them properly.
It also had several pillars throughout the space. Fitting tiles around these obstacles would require extreme accuracy. Additionally, glass walls and doors lined various sections of the unit. These features added complexity to the installation process.
Choosing the Perfect Design
We presented various samples of luxury vinyl flooring to the owner for selection. After careful discussion, the owner chose an LVT design with oak wood grain texture. The selected tiles had a beautiful blend of colors: Grey, beige, and brown tones to create a sophisticated look. For consistency, we recommended the same design and color for the skirting pieces. The owner agreed with our suggestion.
Floor Preparation & Installation
Our team began with thorough floor preparation. We leveled all uneven surfaces to create a uniform base. This step ensured strong tile adhesion and prevented future problems. Next, we measured and cut tiles with extreme precision. Each junction box received perfectly fitted square tile pieces. We carefully cut around every pillar to maintain accuracy. The glass wall areas required special attention for clean edge finishing.
We laid the tiles in a brick pattern across the entire floor. This pattern enhanced the visual appeal of the space. It also created a modern, professional atmosphere suitable for a commercial environment.
The skirting installation came last. We fitted matching oak wood-grain skirting pieces along all walls. It created a cohesive look throughout the space.
