Outdoor Upholstery Project in Villa 139 Palm Jumeirah Frond D

On 03 February 2026, the Lush Loom team completed an outdoor sofa upholstery project at Villa 139, Palm Jumeirah, Frond D. We received a query 3 days ago, and the villa owner wanted to get reupholstery service for outdoor sectional sofas.

We discussed the basic needs of the villa owner who wanted to make his outdoor L-shaped sofas weather-friendly. The villa has a seaside view in front, and there were issues of upholstery damage due to high humidity, intense sunlight, and sand particles. Moreover, we also found that some areas of upholstery had mold growth.

We reupholstered the teak wooden sofas with white beige upholstery. Our designers suggested a white beige upholstery color and olefin (polypropylene fabric) to transform the sofa’s look and functionality.

First of all, we removed the old covers by using a seam ripper. We measured the size of each seat with accuracy by using a measuring tape. During frame inspection, we found that some seat cushions had damaged and flattened foam, so we replaced them with high-density foam.
We crafted custom-fit upholstery covers for all sofa seats. There were 2 sectional sofas, each with 13 seat cushions. After sewing all the seat cushions with new upholstery, we assembled them as per their aligned position.
