Rugs, Wall-to-Wall Carpet & Blackout Curtains Installation in DIP 1

On February 01, 2026, the Lush Loom team completed a floor and window treatment project at 534 Camomile Lane, Green Community West, DIP 1, Dubai. We installed two carpet rugs, wall-to-wall carpet, and blackout curtains throughout the apartment.

The apartment owner contacted us via email requesting luxury floor and window covering. He booked our free site visit to view samples and finalize designs. Our team arrived with carpet, rug, and drapery samples.
Before showing products, we discussed the challenges he faced. The owner explained three main problems. Privacy was lacking due to nearby buildings. Harsh sunlight entered through large windows daily. Noise from the community disturbed his work-from-home routine.

We showcased our newly arrived sample collection to the owner. He finalized a navy blue rug for the dining area and a grey patterned rug for the bedroom. For the home office, he chose grey wall-to-wall carpet with an abstract pattern. This would improve soundproofing during work calls. Our designers recommended warm beige blackout curtains to match the wall paint and panels. The owner approved immediately. We measured every window and floor area precisely for perfect fitting.

We started with blackout curtain installation in the main living area. Our team prepared the curtains with pinch-pleat headers for a tailored look. We attached curtain tracks securely above the windows and hung the panels smoothly.
The windows featured beautiful round-top architectural designs. The owner wanted to showcase this detail occasionally. We added tiebacks to both panels, allowing him to pull drapes aside and reveal the elegant window structure.

Next, we moved to the L-shaped home office. This irregular floor layout required extra precision. We cleaned the floor thoroughly before installation. Our team positioned the grey carpet section by section around the L-shape.
We applied quality adhesive tape along borders and joins. This secures the carpet firmly and prevents shifting. We smoothed every section to eliminate wrinkles. The seamless installation looks like one continuous piece.

We installed the navy blue rug in the dining area first. Our team moved all the furniture temporarily. We positioned the rug precisely in the center and secured it with adhesive tape underneath. This prevents slipping when chairs move during meals. We then replaced the dining furniture carefully.
For the bedroom, we worked on the parquet herringbone flooring. We moved the bed aside and placed the grey patterned rug perfectly. After securing it with adhesive tape, we repositioned the bed to complete the setup.
