Wall-to-Wall Carpet Project at Villa 5, Al Barsha 2, Dubai

The Lush Loom team recently transformed multiple spaces at Villa 5, 20 Street, Al-Barsha 2, Dubai. We installed wall-to-wall carpet in the main hall, a sisal rug in the bedroom, and artificial grass in the outdoor lawn. This comprehensive project enhanced comfort, safety, and aesthetics throughout the entire villa.

The owner booked a free site visit with our team. Our flooring experts arrived to evaluate the floor layout of the hall, bedroom, and outdoor area. We discussed the owner’s specific requirements for each space. The owner wanted to transform the villa hall into a warm, comfortable, and acoustically pleasant area. The bedroom needed a rug covering for enhanced comfort and elegance. The outdoor lawn required artificial grass for a green look without any maintenance hassles.

Our team took accurate measurements of each space individually. Precise calculations help prevent material wastage and ensure perfect fitting. We measured the hexagonal hall layout carefully, noting every angle and corner. The outdoor lawn area received detailed measurements for grass cutting.

We presented various carpet and rug samples to the owner. It helped them to feel the texture, material quality, and actual color tone. After examining different options, the owner selected a taupe-colored carpet with plush velvety texture. This color matched beautifully with the villa’s existing wall & ceiling paint.

The office manager expressed a desire for maximum comfort. Prayer carpets receive heavy use, and comfort matters greatly for worshippers. Our experts recommended felt-made underlayments as the perfect solution. This backing layer adds cushioning and makes the prayers more comfortable for extended periods.

The main hall featured a unique hexagonal floor layout. This irregular shape demanded extra concentration and precision during installation. Our team prepared for the challenge with careful planning. We began by vacuuming the entire hall area for a better adhesive tape performance. Next, we applied high-quality adhesive tape along all borders and strategic center points. This tape creates a strong attachment between the floor covering and the surface.
Our skilled installers laid the taupe carpet section by section. They worked methodically around the hexagonal shape, fitting each piece perfectly. Extra effort went into smoothing the carpet at all joints. This careful work creates a seamless appearance with no visible lines or bumps. After positioning the carpet, we performed tucking along the edges. This process pushes the trimmed edges down firmly for a neat finish. We then covered the baseboards with matching carpet patches. Finally, we vacuumed the entire covered surface to remove any dust or debris from the installation process.

We installed 100% natural sisal carpet in the villa’s bedroom. However, we chose a unique installation approach for maximum visual impact. This rug installation creates a luxurious, hotel-like atmosphere.

We used the same careful adhesive technique as the hall installation. The piece of sisal rug was attached securely to prevent shifting.

Our installation team moved to the outdoor lawn area for the final phase. We brought weather-friendly artificial grass. This synthetic turf handles Dubai’s extreme heat, UV exposure, and occasional rain without damage. We cut the artificial grass rolls into precise pieces based on our earlier measurements. Each piece fits perfectly within the lawn boundaries. Our team laid the turf sections carefully, ensuring proper alignment at all seams.

We secured the grass using specialized outdoor adhesive and securing pins. This prevents the turf from lifting during strong winds. It creates a lush green appearance year-round and requires zero watering, mowing, or fertilizing.
